For £450 a night, daredevil holidaymakers can sleep on canvas dangling from the Dorset cliffs 60ft above the English Channel.
The ‘portaledge’ B&B idea is the idea of climber Eddy Young, 35, who says you need ‘a sense of adventure and a head for heights’.

A pair of customers get comfortable on their flimsy canvas bed as Eddy Young, who came up with the niche idea, checks on them from above
So far only six people have been courageous enough – and wealthy enough – to take on the challenge.
‘The experience is unique,’ said Mr Young. ‘You have normal camping in a field and glamping, but this is next level. If people are looking for an adventure then this is for them.’

Eddy Young, 35, who invented the 'portaledge', says you need ‘a sense of adventure and a head for heights’

He added: ‘I understand it’s quite niche and it’s aimed at professional, high-earning people who have got that spare cash, done a bit of climbing before and want to take it to the next level.’
The experienced mountaineer’s idea has a five-star rating on Trip Advisor.
